Futurenomic Resources is a mission-driven nonprofit working at the intersection of workforce development, digital literacy, and community health. We are looking for two driven individuals to join us as interns — people who want real responsibility, real projects, and real experience doing work that matters in communities that need it.
You will own projects, not tasks.
Real Work
You will run outreach campaigns, support live training sessions, and help manage program logistics. Not coffee runs.
Mission-Driven
Our programs serve low-income communities, BIPOC residents, justice-involved individuals, and opportunity youth across California.

Both positions are unpaid internships. Academic credit available. Remote-first with occasional in-person work in San Francisco.
Outreach & Enrollment Intern
8–10 hrs/week · Remote + occasional field work in SF Tenderloin
Help us fill our first CASF Digital Literacy cohort. You will run our social media outreach, respond to participant inquiries, and support the registration process from first click to enrolled. This is the role that directly determines how many people we serve — and how quickly we get there.
What you will do
- Post and manage content on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook for the CASF program
- Respond to participant questions via email and DM
- Follow up with people who started registration but did not finish
- Help coordinate outreach events and community partner communications in the Tenderloin (94102)
- Track outreach activity and enrollment numbers weekly
Ideal for: Students in communications, marketing, social work, public health, or nonprofit management.
Program Support Intern
8–10 hrs/week · Remote
Support the delivery of our 8-hour CASF Digital Literacy training program. You will help prepare materials, assist participants during Zoom sessions, and keep the program running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is the backbone of our training delivery.
What you will do
- Prepare session slides, handouts, and participant guides before each training
- Be present during Zoom training sessions to assist participants with tech issues
- Log attendance and update participant records in our program portal after each session
- Send reminder emails and follow-up messages to enrolled participants
- Help participants access their completion certificate once they finish 8 hours
Ideal for: Students in education, instructional design, information technology, or communications.
You do not need a perfect resume. You need drive.
We welcome applications from undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and career changers. We especially encourage applications from people who reflect the communities we serve — including BIPOC applicants, first-generation college students, and individuals with lived experience in workforce, health, or justice systems.
You are a good fit if you:
- Are enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university
- Can commit 8–10 hours per week for at least 12 weeks
- Are comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Care about equity, community, and doing work that actually helps people
- Want experience in nonprofit program delivery, not just a resume line
Academic credit:
We support academic credit for most programs. We provide a supervisor letter, defined learning objectives, and mid-term and final evaluations. Check with your school's internship or experiential learning office to confirm your program's requirements.
